The Pineapple Club was actually a party my parents had when they were college like people. They started around when I was 2 and it lasted for TEN years. They drank a lot. It took place in Vermont. They would have puppet shows (one of their friends was a puppeteer! He even worked on the show Pee Wee's Play House), festive pineapple parades, slide shows of past parties, go swimming at the swimmin' hole, sleep in tents on the lawn, and much more. The original real-life club was awesome. Unfortunately, eveyone kepts having babies, so it was hard to continue. I, myself, was the second baby of the club.
The purpose of this club is similar. We just want to have a good time and be weirdos. We can have threads of whatever random thing we like. We get to express our randomness without fear of 'normal' people. It's our haven and we can do whatever we want. domokun
