Bloodlines:
Akuma Clan:
Elemental Substitution
Description: The attempt to master all the elements has allowed the Akuma to change the very nature of the elements. Mixing and matching to their tastes.
Benefit: An example is using an ice substitution for a lightning jutsu, that produces a bolt to freeze the target area with ice, instead of destroying it with electricity. This is only for your own jutsus. If you use the bloodline against your opponent's jutsus: Only if you can physically touch the element, can you turn one element into another. However, turning water to fire or air to earth is not allowed. Water or fire to air would be ok, as it follows logic better.
Drawback: Too much substitution may lead to unstable reactions.
Ichijin Clan:
Air Movement
Description: The familiarity with the element of air has garnered the Ichijin Clan with a unique ability.
Benefit: Just as a ninja could walk on water, or walk up a tree, so too can those of the Ichijin walk on the wind's currents.
Drawback: Difficult to master and requires more concentration then other forms of movement. It isn't flying, it is walking on air.
Ketushai Clan:
Chakra Manipulation
Description: Through the manipulation of the body's chakra channels, it allows changes in body structure by increasing or decreasing chakra flow.
Benefit: The body becomes a weapon. By channeling chakra to certain limbs, one can achieve great strength, speed, agility, fortitude, etc. Some masters of their bloodline can even create weapons out of their body's chakra.
Drawback: Too much augmentation may lead to chakra channels being weakened or unwanted physical deformities.
Seisatsu Clan:
Gyakugan (Reverse-Eye)
Description: The Gyakugan is an eye-based, genjutsu bloodline that reflects damage back to its source.
Benefit: By altering the perceptions of any moment, the Gyakugan user can redirect a blow back to his opponent, forcing him to take the damage instead.
Drawback: The Gyakugan is a difficult to master genjutsu effect that takes its toll on the user, and is also blocked or dispelled by high-end anti-genjutsu abilities or situations.
