And it's about bloody time! It's deucedly difficult to distinguish cigar ashes from cigarette ashes with the aid of a decent glass.

I can't believe I've appeared improperly equipped! redface I think I will have to retire Mimzy in favor of a my magnifying glass. Actually, that's a good idea for more than one reason. I definitely need a new prescription for my glasses! burning_eyes

I can't actually use magnifying glasses. I'm so severely nearsighted they mess my head up trying to look through them. If I want to see something close up, I just take off my glasses.

How about the flashlight? Anyone noticed if it works in Towns, maybe? That would be cool at night! A lot of Gaians have been complaining for some lights to carry when they go trash-hunting at night in Towns.
I wonder what we'll get for the third part of the quest this week?

Yes, I'm rather enjoying these quests. As you can see, the items from them have helped me achieve a bit of a detective look for my avatar.

I like the bags. They're better than the messenger bags you buy in the shops! smile I'd rather have a good, normal-type backpack, though--not some weird one that looks like a panda or something, just a plain old backpack stuffed with books & such.

Hey! Should've known this would become a trend now that we have the magnifying glass.... HOLMESES in the Avatar Arena!
Saw a lousy one last week, but this week there's ANOTHER one. This one's does a decent job considering we don't have a deerstalker or an Inverness cape, & they tried to use the closest possible equivalents.
Also has a cool picture of Holmes for reference.
Check him out & vote for a Holmes Here!
I think OUR Holmes does the best one of 'em all--he does a great Jeremy Brett Holmes!
You oughta enter, with a good pic of Brett in that outfit for reference, Holmes! whee
There's also a Doctor Who there this week...another David Tennant, of course.... rolleyes

FINALLY! 4laugh I love this thing and the bag is kinda cute too. I'm glad they're making a movie as well. Nancy Drew will always be behind Holmes when it comes to favorites, but I'm a fan of hers too!

Just make sure you put a good photo of Brett in that very costume with the entry, because loads of little Noobs will tell you you look nothing like Holmes. And put "Sherlock" & "Holmes" & "Sherlock Holmes" in your keywords. They're very specific.
And do you have a walking-stick yet? That would really perfect it.
And let me know when you go for it--I'll make you an advertising sig!

The newest Holmes movie that I can actually remember seeing was the remake of the Hound of the Baskervilles and it didn't become popular enough to be shown all over like the rest of these new movies. We need to kidnap Steven Spielberg and force him to make a new one. 3nodding
