Welcome to the official guild lotto! This will be very different from the past guild lottos, and will run continuously. Here's the information!

COST:

The cost for this lotto is 100g for each ticket. 90g will go towards the prize while the other 10g can either be stored for guild use later or used to help the_ilse_witch get her Demon Horns. Your choice.

HOW TO PLAY:

First, send 100g to &x=0&y=0&mode=create][enter mule name here]to buy your ticket. Next pick 6 numbers. These numbers can be anywhere from 1 to 20. Post these numbers in this thread or send them as the title of the trade.

At some point every Sunday night (my time) I will roll 6 20-sided dice to determine who wins the lotto. Any gold not won will still count towards the prize for the next week. This means that if nobody wins for a while, there could be one HUGE prize stored up!

PRIZES:

Prizes will be awarded based on how many numbers you have on your ticket that match the draw. These numbers only count if they are the same as the one drawn and in the same position.

Example:
Your numbers: 1 2 3 4 5 6
Winning numbers: 7 8 9 1 9 8

This would not count as a win because, though both tickets include the number 1, it is not in the same spot.

All prizes below include a free ticket for the next draw, and a single matched number will result in a free ticket.

Two matches: 100g
Three matches: 200g
Four matches: 25% of the prize
Five matches: 50% of the prize
Six matches: 100% of the prize

Note that prizes are awarded from the lowest to the highest. So if one person gets two matched numbers, and another gets six matched numbers, the person with the two matches would get their 100g before the person with all six matches gets their prize.

In the event more than one person gets 4+ matches the prize will be evenly divided amongst them. So if two people get four matches then the 25% will be divided between them.

You are allowed to have multiple tickets, though no duplicate tickets will be allowed. Once someone has claimed their numbers nobody else will be able to claim them.

Though, why would it be in encroments (sp?) of 400? If that would be about the number of people there are in this guild, youd have to remember that not everyone is active. Probably now there are around 50 that are, so wouldnt the probably of winning be like 1/50 for one match and so forth?

Chaos here. I'd just like to say that at the moment this lottery is still pretty much a work in progress. I may change the numbers and whatnot as we go depending on how hard or easy it ends up being to win.
