Self-explanatory.
I'm totally diggin' on The Dismemberment Plan right now. They mix some of the most ugly and most beautiful indie rock music. If you haven't heard them before and you want an idea, listen to "What Do You Want Me to Say?" You'll see what I mean by ugly, in the beginning.

i just love how yuki alternates both japanese and english vocals to the point where you can't even make out the words to what she's singing.

Mine's all gaze/dreampop or emo. There are a few indie songs on there, but they tend to lean towards one or the other. Like Cursive is pretty close to emo, even though it isn't. And then there's three or four sludge songs.

Just checked out the Comas.
I liked one album out of the two I listened to. That's Conductor. I always wondered why they called it slowcore and not sludgepop or something to that effect. Slowcore sounds like doom metal and hardcore fusion.

It's a side project Davey Havok and Jade Puget are doing. I like it quite a bit.
