Newgaze and still fresh. Draws from both the modern indie sound and the old warble of the classic acts. I suggest Pet Grief.

I like their track "Where the Damage Isn't Already Done" quite a bit. A few of their tracks seem kinda cheesy, though.

All rocky pop is at least a little cheesy.
