Anybody else in this forum enjoys this dreampop band.
I was disappointed when the band backed down from their supposed Coachella 2005 reunion. They were one of the reasons why I wanted to go Coachella in the first place.

Love them. Liz was supposed to be releasing a solo album "spring" of 2007, but I guess nothing ever came of that yet.

Her style is a force to be reckoned with.

Cocteau Twins are dream pop?
Garlands seemed quite goth to me.
Anyhow, I do love them so. <3

Anyhow, I do love them so. <3 "treasure" and "heaven or las vegas" is clearly dreampop.

They didn't have the same beautiful dreampop haze in Garlands, and that album wasn't really great. They drew their influence more from The Cure in the beginning, because everyone wanted to sound like them.
Treasure, Head Over Heels, and Heaven or Las Vegas are what you want to get. They still sound goth in those albums, sure, but you can definitely hear the difference a little later on. More noise, more post-punk.

They really tightened up their sound in their later albums. You can actually understand what they're singing. But I like the ambience and the goth sound they had going for a while. That and pretty much every song off of Treasure was outright sexy. I swear I get horny when I listen to Lorelei and whatever song track 5 is.
