You can usually close your mouth; it's more difficult to close your heart once you've exposed it. But being able to expose your heart to the right people is a brave and precious thing; opening your heart again after being hurt can take years.


...And if people take advantage of a vulnerable heart by using it for some short-term pleasure, those people are the lowest gutter-crawling arthropods on the planet.
