Is it just me or had Gaia been pretty pathetic lately?
The chatterbox has become the new myspace and the GD has become the new chatterbox. The ED isn't in the best shape either. *sigh*
The Gaia I knew way back when in 05' was a hell of a lot better than the Gaia it is now, instead of pointless topics that have been recycled over and over again, they were much more original, today I can look at a forum and see nothing but the same topic being replicated around 6 times. The people worth talking to have quit due to the rise of the n00bs and stupidity they bring along with them. Now instead of indulging in an itelligent conversation most Gaians do nothing but spam and flame their asses off.
Another thing that annoys me is that the donation items...or "monthly collectibles" have become extremely childish. It seems to me as if Gaia wants to bring children to the website, rather than the appropriate age of 13 and up. I can understand wanting to advertise and such but if the average age of the users on Gaia drops to 7 I am leaving. Gaia is in desperate need of saving, but it does not look like it's going to change anytime soon.
Gaia has become a cesspool for more stupidity within an hour than I can handle for more than one day. No not everyone has become a brain ridden degenerate, more like they have subdued to the n00bs and rather than do anything about it, but a vast majority had joined them
