read the overly dramatic woes of my life
the guy who teaches my summerschool class (i didnt fail anything, im taking extra classes) confuses me. he's a gym coach, so maybe that's it, but he keeps telling us the only difference between him--the educator--and us--the students--is that he has a masters and gets paid. then all i got out of one of his classes was that "the reason car insurance is so high comes back to bad doctors who perscribe steroids illegally" (not exactly what he said, but close). ? then we went from talking about stress (chapter 3) to STDs (chapter 23) and now back to mental disorders (chapter 6) and then steroids. his endless sporting analogies irritate me, mostly because i have no idea what he's talking about. he gives us quizzes over movies we watch, like A Beautiful Mind, and with questions like, "who was the producer?" or "how long did he suffer from schizophrenia?" that weren't even in the movie. and my favorite thing about him is that he keeps going on and on about the hormone oxytocin, saying that it creates a bond between mother and child, lover and lover, etc, whereas (it even says this in the book) oxytocin is really a hormone produced in women to stimulate uterine contractions and lactation. if oxytocin is realeased when he says it is, i can't imgine anything more humourous.

Maybe this world is another planet's Hell
