Chapter 4

As Kara raced down into the basement wondering if her grandparents were still alive. She runned down the stairs of the cellar almost tripping over her own feet. She made it down the treachorous stairs and ran towards the door that led into the house. Kara was baffled. Never in her life would she have thought something this bad would find her in such a bad place. It was just to peaceful to be anything else but Darkness. Either way fate had chosen her to do this something that Kara wasn't even aware of yet. The as Kara pushed the cellar door open she couldn't believe her eyes. ''No!!!!'', Kara shouted as she looked at the floor. When she glanced down she could see her grandmother lying on the floor bleeding blood everywhere. ''Grandma what happened?'', Kara tried not to sound scared,'' Who did this to you?''. ''K-Kara y-y-you have t-to get out of h-h-here''. Her grandmother said as she groaned and moaned in pain. It was a shameful site. Her laying there with her new white sparkling dress stained with her own blood. And to top it off...a stab wound within her heart ligning its self perfectly across her chest. A knife also layed at her side with her all too good blood stained on it as well. Kara cried as she watched her grandmother die in peace and pain perfectly put together in place. ''*sob* *sob* Grandma please....don't leave me like this'', Kara gasped as the tears fell down her face like the seven waters. ''Honey listen to me you have to get out of here there is no time'', Kara's gram caught her breath before she talked again,''You grandfather has already gone and...well you will learn very very s-s-soon'', ''my daling Kara.. I love you oh so very much but it is now my time to die...But before you go there something I must tell you...and it is v-vastly important''. Kara stared at her grandmother with her water drowned eyes and glanced in question. ''What is it Gram?''. kara said with curiosity. Then as her grandmother laid on the floor her soul slowly drifted away in to the light, drifting away from reality as it was meant to happen in fate. ''WAIT GRANDMOTHER PLEASE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOU WERE GONNA SAY PLEASE IM ALL ALONE......I have no one now. jus tthen kara remembered the rose and how it took her from the darkness. Then maybe just maybe it could bring her gram back. Fate could only know and time was running out. Will kara save her gram in time or will she die into Darkness. Destiny only knows the way.
