Hi everyone! The long waited Part 8 is here. Its EXTREMELY short. I'm really really sorry. But I haven't been in the Meeting Peter mood. So I started a new fanfic! I'll post that one too. Don't worry, I'll get around to Meeting Peter any time I can.
Part 8
I was asleep in my bed. I suddenly woke up to the sound of the front door slamming shut. I sat up in bed and looked as a dark silhouette(sp?) walked in. I turned on my lamp.
"Jared?" I asked. He was obviously drunk. "What are you doing home so late AGAIN?"
"Just with the crew." he hiccupped.
"You're with them every night. What about me?" I got out of bed.
He ignored what I said and layed down in bed. I sighed and layed next to him. I shut the lamp. He suddenly kissed my neck.
"Jared, stop!" I pushed him away.
"Aww come on, baby."
I turned the lamp back on. "No!"
"Why not?" he whined.
"Oh, come on." I got out of bed with my pillow and went to sleep on the couch.
The next morning we had an argument.
That night we had an argument. (he got home late again)
The next day, we broke up.
"So, you guys lived together?" Pete asked.
"We had an apartment together. When we broke up, I let him keep it and moved back with my parents." I shrugged.
"So you guys were pretty serious?"
"I guess..." I stood up. "Let's move off the subject. I didn't buy jeans yet." I forced a smile.
"Okay. I'm sorry." Pete hugged me.
"It's alright." I suddenly noticed a Yoshi ad in a GameStop window. I started giggling.
"What?" Pete looked over.
"Yoshi!" I laughed, pointing.
"Oh man..." Pete laughed, too.
"Where is that crazy Pete from Release The Bats?" I poked him.
"The one who drinks pee?"
"YEAH!" I exclaimed.
"I'd never be that insane in front of you."
"Hahah. I say we play some dodgeball and get tattoos." I smiled.
"Okay then." Pete smiled back.

The five of them sat in Gabby's front yard drinking iced tea.
"How can we break them up?" Amanda asked.
"Well, why did her and her ex break up?" Patrick asked.
"Hmm." Gabby thought a moment. "Jared was always getting in late, getting drunk, and he wanted to... ya know."
"Ooh." Joe thought a moment. "We can get Pete drunk."
"Hmm."
"Don't you guys feel at all bad?" Amanda had a guilty look on, "I mean, they ARE our best friends."
"Yeah..." Andy agreed.
"Oh well." Gabby smirked, "It'll teach them a lesson."
"So, you guys will get Pete drunk, then we'll get him to call Melissa and she'll be pissed." Amanda smirked.
"This is going to be fun." Gabby smirked, too.

"AHHHHHHHH." I screamed as I got a tattoo. "PETE I AM GOING TO KILL YOU."
"Hahah it can't hurt that bad!" he looked into my eyes as I was smirking. I was getting the clandestine bat tattooed on my lower back.
"Mmmmm. Peteee." I gripped his hand.
After what seemed like hours, it was finally done. I couldn't see it, so I used a mirror to look. It looked absolutely awesome. It wasn't small, wasn't big. Just the right size.
"I love it." I smiled.
"You're adorable." he kissed me.
I paid the tattoo artist guy and we left. We shopped a little bit more, then we left and were driving to my house.
"My parents are probably going to still be at work..." I mumbled.
"So we'll have the whole house to ourselves?" He asked.
"Mhm." I looked at him and winked. Then I started laughing.
"Ooh, so what are we gonna do?" He smirked.
Woah, a lot of smirking the last paragraphs. Anyways, ...
"Noo Pete we can't do that." I rolled my eyes.
"Do what?" he laughed, "I wasn't thinking that."
"Of course you weren't. I SAY WE JUMP OFF THE ROOF WITH UMBRELLAS." I exclaimed.
"Hahah."
"Sorry, but no AHEM until marriage biggrin " I smiled.
"Err. Okay." Pete looked away.
"Eh." I mumbled.
"...."
"Well, this is akward." I sighed.
"Yeah." He nodded.
There was a silence.
"I'm sorry!" We both said.
Another silence.
"...we're almost at my house." i half smiled.
"Yup." he smiled back.
"OMIGOSH." I shouted. "I HAVE A POOL."
"...and you didn't tell me until now?!?" he laughed, "let's go swimming!"
"yeah!"

we both ran out of the house into the backyard like little kids in our swim suits.
i jumped in like a maniac since i knew my pool was never too cold. pete was standing there looking at me.
"come on!" i splashed him. he backed away.
"move over." i swam over to the side and he jumped in, too.
"i need some lawn chairs..." i mumbled.
"hahah. i dare you." pete said, pointing at a flat plastic table.
"okay then." i got out and unattached the table top. i threw it into the pool.
"hey hey i was kidding, i dont want you to get hurt--" pete was saying when i jumped in. "MELISSA ARE YOU OK?!?!" he exclaimed when the splash was over.
"yeah, i didn't jump at the table." i blinked at him.
"don't worry me like that." he hugged me.
"i dont get it." i hugged him back, "you're the one that dared me to jump onto it. -___-"
"i was kidding!!" he laughed. "i wouldn't want you to get hurt."
"but you and the guys do that." i shrugged. "why can't me and you?"
"because i care about you and i don't want you to get hurt." he smiled.
"so you want your band to get hurt?" i asked.
"noo!" he laughed, "you're not getting it."
"yes i am. i was kidding." i smiled back.

Amanda, Gabby, and the band were still hanging out together. Patrick and Gabby were talking A LOT. Gabby suddenly pulled Amanda to the side.
"ILOVEPATRICK." She exclaimed in a whisper.
"I already knew that..." Amanda sighed.
"No no! REALLY." Gabby mumbled.
"Oooh. So... you really like him?" She asked.
"YES!" She shouted. The band looked over. "Heheh..." Gabby giggled sheepishly.
"Aww." Amanda walked away. "Hey, Patrick, Gabby is madly in love with you."
"AMANDA!" Gabby punched her in the shoulder. Amanda pushed her and she fell over.

My cell phone rang. I ran out of the pool and over to my phone.
Kathleen. What did SHE want? We haven't talked since... since... highschool?
Me: hello?
her: MELISSA!
Me: hey kat! how have you been?
her: good! what about you?
me: GREAT.
her: really? awesome. anyways, i was watching tv, and pete wentz has a new girlfriend!
me: -giggle- really?
her: yeah! she looks REALLY familiar.. i can't figure out who she is though.
me: heheh... its me, idiot.
her: what?
me: meee. i'm his new girlfriend. he's at my house right now.
her: NO WAY.
me: YES WAY. here talk to him. -hands pete phone-
pete: hello?
her: OMG
pete: hahah -hands me phone-
me: told ya.
her: awesome!
me: i gotta go. call me later.
her: okay, talk to you later.

Dood, it was horrible. The breakup was terrible. Blehhhh.
I disappointed you all, I'm sorry. I'm going to be away for 2 weeks [ AGAIN i tell you ] so don't expect ANYTHING for all that time.
