I am a follower of God. I probably do not believe or worship the same way you do, but if you are a Christian, then you know what really matters....Jesus Christ is our savior. If you aren't a Christian, send me a message, especiall if this offends you. I won't bash your beliefs or ideas, just as I hope you won't bash mine.
Phishing (stolen from Tom's Myspace! lol)
are you finding that you are losing random gold? items missing? maybe trade requests sent to people that you didn't post?

you can stop this by changing your password! a spammer has access to your account. they're using it to market their junk (and yours!). fight back by changing your password!!

now how did they get your password? it's called phishing. somewhere on gaia you clicked on a link, profile, page - something, and you saw the gaiaonline login page. but wait - it wasn't really the gaia login page. it was a FAKE LOGIN PAGE. that fake page was created by a spammer who is waiting for you to enter your name and password. once you've done that, he's stores your info. then he steals your stuff and gold, and may use your gaia to scam others.

so don't fall for the trap - check the address bar at the top of the page and make sure you never login unless you're on "gaiaonline.com". to be totally safe, type 'gaiaonline.com' everytime you see the login page, or click "home" in the toolbar. if you do this, you'll know you're on the right login page.

This has been a big problem on myspace. don't fall for it!

Simpler answer: Just keep yourself logged in constantly. That way you won't have to worry about what pages you sign in on. As long as your computer has the right cookies enabled, you can stay signed in as long as you want... the last time I actually typed out my UN/Password was about 5 months ago. 3nodding And I've never been hacked/scammed. Simple as that.

Well, my computer autosaves and inputs my passwords into the proper forms, and won't do that for a fake site.

And mine has the proper cookies enabled.

But, even I've been kicked off for no reason. Doing jigsaw, and all of a sudden, I wasn't logged in anymore.

It's still good advice.
