I've made my decision on homosexuality.

Based on no person's argument other than the true divine intervention of God, I have my answer.

Homosexuality is not chosen. You are born with it. It is engraved into your DNA. How then, can it be a sin?

Simple. Your body is made of the DNA of Adam and Eve, and educated with the knowledge given to us be the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

In the beginning, God breathed a spirit of life into us. The spirit resides in a corruptible body of flesh.

So what am I saying? Homosexuality is a sin. So is lusting after another girl, looking at porn, lying to your parents, breaking the law, stealing, or anything else.

My view on gay marriage, then? If you are against gay marriage, you are a hypocritical Christian. Why? Marriage is no longer a religious ceremony. It is a legal contract. With it comes binding contracts, guarantees of inheritance, tax breaks, and social status. For us to condemn a group that may or may not be sinning.....you would be putting yourself at a position above God.

John 3:17 The Lord did not come into the world to condemn the world but to claim it as his own.

If God Himself did not condemn anyone, what right do we have?

Here's the deal. Education is the key. Everyone should know and at least try to understand homosexuality. It should be taught about in Sex Ed, and in church.

Btw, for those of you that say "it's a sin? then we should try to change them!" I say "you are an idiot." Why? You can't make an alcoholic stop drinking if he doesn't want to. You can't make a pervert stop looking at porn if he doesn't want to. And you can't make a homosexual straight if he doesn't want to be. (btw, sorry for using male pronouns....it was quicker).

The Law of Egape tells us to love and accept one another. Not to judge. Not to condemn. And DEFINITELY not to hate. Christ was tolerant on the cross, no?

When Matthew 7:1 was spoken, Jesus didn't mean that you were a hypocrite if you were guilty of the SAME sin. All sin is equal, so if you are guilty of ANY sin.....and try to judge......you're a hypocrite.

Guess what?

Romans 3:23 All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

If you judge, you are a hypocrite. Period.

And if you want to try to argue "sanctity of marriage" then I'll argue it right back. I say get the government out of it to re-sanctify it.

Also, I am a gay rights supporter. Why? Because attacking any group of people for any reason, and then calling them immoral is the worst non-violent thing I could imagine one group doing to another. We are all human beings. Why don't we start acting like it?

1) If you couldn't carry on a conversation in Greek, don't try to quote it. Any foreigner trying to read this can tell you that most of it probably doesn't make any sense, due to idioms, wordsmithing, euphemisms, and understood connotations.

2) Reading a book cover to cover doesn't make you an expert on the book. The bible wasn't written in order, so trying to read it in order and saying you're an expert isn't very logical.

3) A non-Christian has no right to tell a Christian what the bible means to say. They can quote scripture, but interpreting it is impossible without the Holy Spirit.

4) Taking two words from a verse and translating them does you no good.

Neither side of this argument is exactly right. Homosexuality is a sin. It is a sin, just like every other sin. Sins are between the sinner and God. we have no right to intervene. Period.

Whoever corrects a mocker invites insult; whoever rebukes a wicked man incurs abuse. Proverbs 9:7

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:17

So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin. Romans 7:21

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:1

We are all equal. One man has no right to put himself above another. While one's ailment is alcohol, and another's is porn, it is all equal, and all requires the same sacrifice. Why then, would you compound your sin by trying to usurp a power that is not yours?
