Age: Appears 24, actually 40
Appearance:Height: 5'10
Weight: 147 lbs.
Hair: Black; parted and slightly windswept to the right (his right); messy
Eyes: Gray; have a very distinct glazed over appearance (meaning no highlights on his eyes)
Build: Fairly lean with a medium build (the jacket makes it seem he's bigger)
Other: His skin is very pale and somewhat sickly looking, as if he were half-dead. He has a tattoo on his upper right arm (no ref yet).
Profile: Vidal was one of the original researchers who died and was subsequently afflicted with a Soul Parasite. Unlike his twin brother, Vidal didn't have the willpower to come back to the realm of the living and is now only a shell of his former self.
A quiet, sorrowful-looking man who always seems to be eternally lost within the labyrinth of his thoughts, Vidal is well-versed in the philosophies and history of life and is thoroughly disillusioned with humanity. Despite his thug-like appearance, he seems to enjoy the gift of nature, and can often be found in the seaside nature park, on the beach or sitting out in the rain.
To him, Zedekiah is initially an annoyance, but later becomes a pupil of sorts and eventually his only friend. Zedekiah is immensely curious about the world outside the island and the military base, and due to the attraction Soul Parasites have to each other found Vidal by the shore. Vidal is disgusted by Zedekiah's naivety, but later begins to give in and teach him about the ways of the world.
Vidal seems to have lost his empathy, and displays only intense dislike and disdain for people. The only exceptions to this is Remi, his younger twin, and later Zedekiah.
He is a decent street brawler in his own right, and has enhanced reaction time and strength.
He is mildly mentally unstable, and goes through bouts of very violent, very wild mood swings periodically. He gets cold very easily, and in sessions of masochistic brutality he will often sit out in the cold for several days (a normal person would probably freeze to death in that time). Vidal will also let himself get 'killed' by gangs or street punks, only to come back and slaughter
them in turn.
Sometimes Vidal is comically mistaken as a hobo for his habits, as he can usually be seen walking around the city aimlessly or sleeping on a bench.
Clothes: Vidal wears four layers - a worn-looking red sleeveless shirt; an over-sized, heavily wrinkled dull red tank top; a black light jacket; and a dark green, air force-esque winter jacket with a fur-lined hood. The outer jacket has a strip wrapped around both upper arms, and there is a black stripe above and below each strip. The black jacket has longer sleeves and is larger than the outer jacket. He wears a simple black belt, a worn pair of dark blue-gray jeans and equally worn-looking black dress shoes. Additionally, he wears black, fingerless gloves that have a band of steel across the knuckles. An over-sized leather belt is slung across his hips.
