So, how's everyone enjoying the event? ::Grins:: I'm loving it. I'm an "Elder" and I've got my little bat for my Avatar. I'm going to have to do the trick or treating circuit here soon. Get me some of those grab bags!
October has really been an awful month. I'm going to be glad when all of the suck that happened this month is gone, replaced by the warm colors of fall, and the bold scent of turkey and mashed potatoes with warm butter.
I'm trying to be positive. The feeing at home right now is very poor. A lot of loss has gone on recently...
::sighs:: Okay, now that I've depressed myself... I'll talk about my knitting.
I finally finished that scarf for my girlfriend, Dani. It's really, really nice, and I'm really proud of it. I need to send it to her tonight so that she can have it when it turns cold outside.
I'm knitting myself some armwarmers. My hands have started to hurt, so I figure if I can keep them warm, I'll be a little ahead of the arthritis game. I'm using size three needles and some self striping yarn, so it's turning out really, really nice. I can't wait till they're finished, but, I've only got about two inches sofar, where I need about ten. ::Laughs::

Cid: Well, he's alright. He's going to keep an eye out for it on eBay and Craigslist. I guess if I ever get a GPS I'm going to carve pretty designs into the plastic, so that I'll be SURE to know it's mine.
Aeolusis: That really sucks, but! At least you got your car back! We had a similar case with my dad's car. Three teenagers decided to take his '86 Buick Riverara out for a joy-ride, where they also tore the header out of it. He got it back a few hours later, the kids caught. Nothing ever happened to them. And my dad's car never needed a key again.
ZakuMent: Yeah, apparently the bugs are getting better. I was taking echinacea, but I'm almost wondering if it's not causing my migraines, so I'm holding off for now. I'll just have to be healthy in other ways I suppose!
I'm just glad I'm still into knitting as much as when I started. It's really become something big for me. ::laughs:: Yeah, and my list keeps getting bigger and bigger, but, meh. It'll keep me busy! Someone wants me to do a custom scarf for them, and I'm hoping to trade a set of these: Harmony Wood DPN 0-3 needles. And for the size of the scarf and the gauge she wants I think it's a fair trade!
Oh! And thank you! My birthday was in September!
Darien S.: I actually listen to all types of music. From operatic to hard rock. It's hard for me to pick a certain Genera that I like, as I like too many!
I really should sleep more. I've just got so much need to do... I can't get it done during the day, so I have to do it at night...
