"I promise I will never leave you." She told me, and then the next day...she died. Hit by a car, drunk driver I was told. She was young, only 16, just as I am. She was my girlfriend, my one true love.
Sometimes,when I am alone in the dark, I can hear her. She says, "I love you." but she is so hard to believe. She has lied to me before, when she promised me she would never leave me.
Sometimes, in a crowd of people, she appears. She smiles at me. I know it's fake, how could she be happy without me?
Other times, I would smell her. She always smelled like strawberries when she was happy. Maybe seeing me makes her happy.
Yesterday, she came to me. In the dim light I could see she was lonely. "Come home with me." She said.
Today is my last day. My letter to you, whom ever you may be. I know I wont be missed, so I say, Farewell to you and the world. For now I will take a single shot to my useless head and I will live happily with her....
