"Guilty."
Rung the judge's voice as he slammed to hammer thing on the desk. A hushed moment of silence followed the surprising words. Then people rose and began to yell, my lawyer and defender stood up and began yelling, "My client, is innocent! I demand another trial! This is outrageous!" People in the jury were yelling at each going back and forth about how unfair the judge was being.
"This is unfair as unfair can get!" continued my lawyer. I sat there in a daze, "Guilty? How can they find me guilty? I didn't..."
The judge slammed the hammer again and again, "Shut up! Order in the court! Shut UP!" His voice boomed louder and louder. Finally the room fell silent, the judge cleared his throat, "She, is guilty because-"
"NONSENSE!" My lawyer yelled. The judge put his hand up and yelled, "Over ruled." He sat down and shifted several times in his seat.
"..because she clearly did it, no one else had the reason to, and no one else could get close to him."
A member of the jury stood up, "But not allowing us jury members to discuss the matter is unfair and simply cruel."
My lawyer stood up again, "Exactly, this is not a fair case, I demand another trial!" He slammed his right hand on the table in front of us to emphasis his emotion.
I sighed.
The judge rolled his eyes and rubbed his head. Everyone leaned in to see what was going to happen. The gloomy room seemed to close in on me.
You see, this isn't like a normal trial that I'm used to, but I'm not on Earth am I?

It all started on my 8th grade graduation, on Earth...
"Whitney!" yelled one of my teachers, Mrs. Bokish, "Whitney! Where's your outfit? Your robe? Your hat?" I sighed and scratched my head, "Well, I forgot it...." It looked as if her head exploded, "WHAT!?!?" I stepped back in fear`and she grasped my arm, hard.
"Listen here, if you don't go get one on right now, I'll personal see to it that you never get to your 9th grade classes, EVER!" I knew that wasn't possible but my arm was hurting and her breath stunk!
"Ok, Ok... I was only kidding, its in my backpack..." She realeased my arm and stepped back a bit, "Very well, but remember, I don't kid." She turned on her heel and stormed off. I laughed to myself and headed toward my locker.
"I don't see whats so special about moving from the 8th to the 9th. We change schools, thats enough of a celebration..."
I opened my locker and slipped my robe-thing and werid hat out. I went into the bathroom to slip it on over my clothes. The noise from the hallway stopped and it was dead silent. I fixed my hat to stay on my head and went out to see what the problem was.
No one was there.
"Oh crap!! There already at the assembly!" I began to run when I heard something metal scrap the floor. I turned quickly in alert. (I've watched to many horror movies...) Nothing was there.
I scanned the area quickly and began running toward the gym again. Then the scrapping noise came again but louder, as if it was closer... I turned again to find nothing... Then the faces of my classmates flashed for a second. I turned around several times and looked around, then the colors of their clothes flashed as well.
"What the hell is going on?" I muttered. Then the figure of them came out and voices slowly rose to the normal volume. I was freaked out. I ran down the hall to go into the bathroom but I bumped into someone who wasn't there! They flashed off and on. Above all the scraping noise got louder.
"What's happening?!" I said. Then at the end of the hallway, this...shadowy figure stood there, clearly. Not flashing like everyone else. My eyes were glued to him. He had some sort of armor on...
