VOLUME 2
Chapter 1
As Chief Dark Star sat in his hut, he was happy. Happy for himself, for his tribe, for his Daughter. She had run away 2 years ago...in order to work for the anti-Gambino movement...but Gambino's reign was over...she had written to him..she would be coming back home..."Fallen Comet, I missed you so..", he said to himself. His thoughts would be interrupted however, with the sound of several hover speeders coming into the village. He stepped out of his hut, and looked at the speeders...several people in cloaks and hoods stepped out of the speeders and walked up to him. "Are you the chief of this village?" One person asked in a Duremian accent. Dark Star nodded. "I am." The person stepped forward and grabbed Dark Star. Dark Star yelled and started to struggle, but he was quickly handcuffed and shoved into a speeder. The speeders sped off into the night, but a young man had seen this...he quickly ran to his hut, uncovered his speeder ike and shot off into the night, towards Durem...
As Vercetti lay in his hammock, he didnt feel the slightest sense of danger...Gambino had been gone for 2 weeks now..the SeeDs' purpose was fistill not voer, however...Vercetti was already making plans for the group to go after Gambino's trooper commanders.....there wasstill a need for a freedom fighter group when there still were supporters of Gambino running around.....he had told Spidar..she wasnt too anxious to get back to work..they were a couple, yet they hadnt really gotten to spend much time together.not since before Gambino came to power..when they were still young school children living on the shores of Bass'ken lake...he got up out of the hammock and walked into SeeDs HQ...or the new one..Fallen Comet volunteered her compound to be the new HQ...of course the Barton town HQ was still around...Vercetti went to the communicator and dialed in a number...
"Hello?"
"Spidar?"
"Verce? Hi! Whats up?"
"Nothing...just, I've decided to go back to Bass'ken lake..to relive childhood memories..would you like to come with?"
"Sure! When are we leaving?"
"Tommorrow morning..this is just between us..if Wintr finds out, he'll want to goo and you know I cant resist his pestering..."
"Ok..Ill tell noone...see you later! Love you! Bye!"
Vercetti hung up the communicator, now feeling even happier..
