Poem "Love"

My love for you runs deep
And yes it causes me to weep
That look in your eyes sends me into a different world
Filled with joy making my emotions swirl

Your voice it relieves me from my pain
If only you could see what I see in you
Your kindness and the way you smile
Your laugh could bring me happiness for miles and miles

I love the way your hair curls
And I love the way you make me laugh
The way you smile makes me feel so happy and free
Like no matter what I know you’re there for me

Then I come back to reality
And then I know
It’s all just a dream
And I should not soon forget
That with each passing day I will not regret
This feeling I have is one like no other
Like a seed in my heart that never stops growing
When I only realize what this seed is doing
It’s already too late
And I’ve fallen in love

Accept it and that’s what I’ve done
But to my perspective it hasn’t stopped
When I’m near you my heart begins to hurt
And I can’t help it if I fake a smile
It’s like a game of spin the dial
Only I’ve lost
And now I’ve given in
What’s the use if everything is all just a game?
You tell me.
Life on a game only luck matters

But still I love him so
It doesn’t matter how much more it grows
I can’t stop thinking about him
And I can almost never stop
For each passing day seems to pop!
I will cherish my last year with you
For now and for always
