as i lay waiting just there waiting
something came but started fading
i may never know
angel or beast
but it eats at my mind like its a horrible feast
quiet in the night
as it took its flight
a whisper and nothing more
always, but never there
a dark and glaring stare
just a whisper and nothing more
playing a game in its keen lore
i seem to drift
in a sleepy trail
but i'll never forget that frightful tale
meh...first time i've ever tried to ryme a poem
