as i lay just simply waiting
simpley dying
simply crying
crying of my death
awaiting any moment
a fire burning in my chest
as i lay waiting for rest
and my life will be done
a silent calling only i can hear
a slow ringing
of someone singing
as darkness spreads
and i go limp
as i pass on now
and give a great bow
for where i just lay was my final act
