Chapter 6
Kouru walked down the street, this human world is turning like hell he thought. ‘She’s the one, she has to be’ he thought. He kept walking in the streets, he could easily fly but now he was one of them. Mia has everything the nightwalker needs to have, all she needs are her powers, and that he could take care of. He knew they were almost the same, but she has a soul and he doesn’t. this hunger inside was killing him, he needed new blood, it has been weeks after he’s last meal, and the blood that he got from David wasn’t spoiled like the one from the humans. Even if it didn’t had that fresh flavor, heck he survived.
But he knew Mia’s blood wasn’t spoiled. How he wanted to taste it, but he knew he couldn’t, not yet anyways...
He saw her house, and he smiled, it wasn’t anything ordinary he could see.
He wanted to knock the door right now, but maybe her mom was there, he couldn’t risk it. Not now that he was this close. So he waited and waited until it was dark.
That’s why we are nightwalkers, so different and so similar to vampires. We need blood to survive but we cant drink blood from any human, most now are all spoiled. We can walk in the daylight when vampires can’t. Even thought he laughed at the thought that people though their clan were extinct. Many years ago they were hiding from humans, and humans from them, this time they didn’t know that they were among their own enemies.
He knocked the door this time, and then hesitated when no one opened the door, then he saw her smiling face, the next nightwalker.
