That you feel that you've lost,
The person i used to be.
You must understand i can't help it,
It hurts me to,
So painful and distressing,
But there's nothing i can do.

Through desparing brown eyes,

So thoughtfelt and loving,
I almost feel like giving in.
But it's you i'm thinking about,
This is the way it should be,
All about you,
And not a bit about me.
I begged you to leave,
When i first started feeling this way,
I knew i'd end up hurting you,
If you did stay.
You insisted on staying,
And holding me down,
You said you wouldn't know what to do,
If i wasn't around.
Deep down i knew,
From the very start,
I couldn't be what you needed,
Even if i gave you my heart.
I gave you my all,
But i knew it wasn't enough,
You deserve better,
Please, choose someone else to love.
I've asked you to leave me,
But you just told me no,
These feelings have overtaken,
So now i must go.
I am so sorry,
But i really hope that you see,
I'm doing this for you,
Not only for me.
I'm sure you'll understand,
If you loved me like you said,
I want you to be with someone,
Who doesn't wish they were dead.
This depression i was feeling,
Put pressure on us both,
It was bringing you down aswell.
My reasons for doing this,
Is so that you will be free,
So that you can find somebody better,
So much better than me.
