And she brought gifts. Everything's really, really cheap in Thailand. Like 100 of their currency is three dollars here. So I got this really cool necklace thing. It's big. But it's really different and really pretty. And my sister got a bracelet. It's just a bunch of beads. Mine is way cooler.
My mom also brought back chopsticks and a pasta dish. A PASTA DISH! You have no idea how excited I was. My mom said when people asked her what she got she was all like "Oh, it's a pasta dish for my daugher...that sounds totally weird...but trust me...she'll be ecstatic."
Trust me. I was EXTREMELY ecstatic.
