Okay, I need to make a change. For the last couple of entries, I've been saying that we live in a house bewitched to be a mansion on the inside. I mean, we still do... But we're in the process of moving.
You see, first, we bought the house, bewitched it, and lived in Barton Town. ...Well, it's way too loud there at night. People talking, bar brawls happening all over, not to mention the constant jabbering coming from the arena day in and day out. We packed up the house (Hikaru's Technomagic), and moved over to the newly discovered Akea. Akea's dry, dusty weather irritated Kira's sensitive wolf nose and the robots are just plain creepy. We packed up (again) and moved to Gambino, just in time for the Zombie Fiasco last Halloween. Long story short, we got the hell out of that creepy place. Besides, it was way too hot there. Durem was our next stop, and it was okay... For a while. The people in Durem are kinda... Snobby. Okay, lemme rephrase that, they're not "A little" snobby. They're so snobby that we had to hold Neko back from slicing the heads off of that scarred butler guy and that creepy salon girl. Finally, we decided to move next to the shore, close to the Gambino and Barton fishing spots, but over to the left on the map. It was nice there. Walking distance to the marketplaces of Gambino and Barton, and only a little longer to Durem. All of us were happy there. Of course, to live there, we had to make a special deal with Josie, but it was worth it. ...Until of course that blasted tower fell. It fell feet- FEET away from our house! If it wasn't for the fact that I can phase through things, I'd be dead! So anyway, we all unanimously decided that we were moving again. The problem was, where? Barton is noisy, Gambino had gotten just as noisy with the marketplace combined with the new additions of the Casino and the tourists grabbing pieces of the fallen buildings, Akea is too dusty, the citizens of Durem are just unbearable, and everywhere else that's mapped has the possibility of a building falling on it. So we went thought about it for a bit and decided that we'd explore, but we knew that if we did, we'd have to tell Josie. Now, Josie isn't a very happy woman. She just doesn't deal with the buying of houses, oh no. She has to keep track of every place that every house that is bought is and we aren't her favorite people. Everyone else who had bought a house just settled for one place and maybe moved once. We, however, have only stayed in one place at most for a month. She isn't very happy with us. So we get to her and tell her. She goes off on us, telling us that if we were going to explore, we only had ten days to or she would destroy our house. We didn't really beleive her until she all of the sudden teleported our folded up house out of Hikaru's pocket. "Oh, beleive me. I have much more power than you think," She said with a slightly Cajun accent, "All of us shopkeepers do." Her eyes were glowing. It was kinda scary. ...But then she said that she needed... "Collateral." With that, she pointed a finger at Mika, my familiar, and suddenly Mika was in a cage behind her, shrouded in a blue light that seemed to have froze her. "If you don't come back in ten days, I'll get rid of the cat. You hurt me, and the cat is gone as well."
Now let me explain something. In the first month that I was a ghost, I met Mika. For a visual, she's a small black housecat with white paws, a white belly, and a white chin. To add to this, she also has tiny demon wings on her back. We immediately became friends after I found out that she could telepathically comunicate with people, and then I found out that, if need be, she could transform into a large panther with huge demon wings that bestowed to her the ability to fly. After roughly a year, she revealed to me that she was part of a cat demon tribe that, upon maturity, it's members are supposed to leave the tribe and search for the one soul on Gaia that shared theirs. In short, Mika merged my soul with hers and we sort of became one. To that extent, if she dies, I cease to be, and if I am forced to pass on or am destroyed, she dies. Somehow, Josie knew that.
But anyway, now the four of us are on the road south, trying to find someplace far enough away from the hectic cities of Barton, Akea, Gambino, and Durem so that we are not bothered by their insane citizens (no offence, reader), but still close enough so that either Hikaru or myself can get back in whatever time remains to ensure that Mika and I don't end up dead and worse.
We just started out our journey, but as soon as something big happens, I'll write about it.
