Well, I disappeared from the online world for several months, but I've returned, more powerful than ever -- muahahahahaha! In the time I've been gone, my school has made even more stupid decisions.
Case in point: Our track and field, which we spent out foreign language budget on a few years ago, have now been proven to emit poisonous fumes. I'm not kidding. And my friend and I found a human vertebra out on the field the other day. I'm not kidding about that either, believe it or not.
And... exams were this week. They are very hard, these exams, and require lots of time to complete. So, taking that into consideration, the administration decided to make the exam blocks half an hour shorter than normal class periods. We are all in awe of their logic.
But let's not forget: Instead of, say, fixing the broken plumbing, roof, walls, ceiling, electrical wiring, poisonous track, bathrooms, air conditioning, and/or trailers, the school purchased ten new wide-screen TVs and positioned them around the school. They show sports games. They'll probably be broken by freshmen over the summer.
This is all true. And highly depressing, in a humorous sort of way. *sigh* Two more years left, two more long years.
