Spent the evening last night in the company of good friends, celebrating a (surprise) birthday. First time I have ever seen one of those things go off without a hitch. She took him out for supper while we all showed up at their place. A bunch of the guys got together and pushed his motorcycle out to the end of his driveway with a For Sale sign on it and a price of $75. When they were pulling into the yard, he did not notice the 15 cars in the drive, because he wanted to know why his bike was out by the road....
We even came home early and got some decent rest...this whole month has been crazy for us "needing" to be here or there, and I've been burning the candle at both ends trying to keep everyone happy.
Time to downshift I guess
Today I am thankful for
1.My Jeep that starts every time I turn the key and gets me where I need to go
2.My heart is still beating, and my health is good enough to be able to go out and see friends
3.Great memories from Laconia this year. I LOVE NEW HAMPSHIRE!
