First I need to get this out of the way. *ahem* OMFG BREAKING DAWN WAS FREAKING INCREDIBLY AWESOME!!! whee
*giggles* I was just talking to Brina Kay. She's just recently been on Stephenie's site and found out that her song "Wouldn't It Be Nice" by the Beach Boys was the very first song on the playlist. Gotta say, it's a pretty awesome playlist. *loves the Billy Idol song* Aerosmith, Incubus, Korn, Nine Inch Nails, Plain White Ts, Smashing Pumpkins, Jimmy Eat World, and not to mention the standard Meyer Linkin Park and Muse. I've been listening to it A LOT. Denver completely agrees on the awesomeness. Both on the music and the book. It's nice having a guy that really and truly appreciates the saga. Oh! And there's that Death Cab for Cutie song AK and I have been saying from the very beginning was perfect for like ALL the books.
Really, I want to rant a little more about the book, but since I have this fear of some random person reading this and spoiling it, I'll skip that.
Anyway, we had a lot of friends over yesterday. Poor AK. She came over for some alone time with me and she's gets a whole house full of people. Well there was a little alone time in between Jenna and Alice leaving and Michael coming home. Michael actually brought Nikki home. *giggles* I told Dad about that. He just looked at Michael and said "You actually lived?" xd AK was really good about it, actually. I think she really likes Nikki, if it wasn't for the whole she dated Michael for several months before AK, you know?
Ben came over too! Ugh. I just wish he would come over when Michael isn't home! Michael and AK are free to go up to his room any time they want. Me? No. I have to stay with everyone else where I can't do anything I shouldn't be doing. Of course Denver is almost as bad as Michael. Troy came back downstairs and AK and Michael didn't follow and I'm shocked Denver didn't march his a** up there and drag them back. I kind of said that aloud and Denver rolled his eyes at me and said AK can't tolerate people as well as me. She should be allowed a little break. Ugh! How fair is that? Even Denver's against me. If I tried to sneak out of the room like they did...Yeah right. rolleyes
Okay, besides the boys working against me as always, yesterday was fun. I haven't talked to Nikki in AGES. She's not my favorite friend and I can only take hanging with her so long, but she'll be going away soon enough! It didn't help that she was totally appraising AK the entire time she was there. Knowing Nikki and her superiority issues...And AK her own issues...Even though they seemed to like each other, they wouldn't do each other any good.
Zack also has a girlfriend now. Ugh! Not fair! Okay, I know I'm way older than him and not nearly into him enough and of course I love Ben, but ugh! He's cute. *pouts* Now I'm going to have to feel twice as guilty checking him out. Not that that will stop me...But YAY! He showed me a picture and holy crow she's incredible and you can totally tell he's completely gone for her. It's so cute!
As much fun as yesterday was I'm sooo bored now. Michael left to go be with AK. Probably a good idea, since she's probably stewing a little, but now I don't have anyone to bother! *can't wait for Shawn to come home now*
