Chapter 16

Everyone gathers around the dome, and Jessie stands off to the side, infront of a control panel. She looks at some readings and then at the dome.
"Something's not right." Jessie looks at Julia with a worried look. "He's not supposed to be up. He's supposed to wake up in three months."
"What's wrong? What's causing him to wake up?" Micheal demands an answer.
"I don't know! The computer's trying to figure it out. Oh, s**t." Jessie looks at one of the moniters.
"What is it?" Katelyn yells out.
"The computer's overloading. It can't figure out why he's waking up." Jessie rushes from panel to panel. She stops and looks at the dome. "Don't tell me." She grabs a pen and goes to the dome. She takes the pen and gabs a hole in the dome. The green liquid pours out of the hole and cracks branch off from the hole. "Help me, DAMN IT!!!" She yells at everyone.
Micheal and Charlie start punching the glass, causing more cracks. Then the glass of the dome completely shaters, releasing all the liquid.
Drew's body hangs from many cords that are attached to him. Charlie steps into where the dome was, and Micheal follows. Together, they take out the cords and sit Drew down in a chair. Charlie gets close to him.
"He's not breathing!"
"He will." Katelyn pushes him out of the way and gets close to Drew's face she slowly gets closer.
"Do it already!" Julia demands.
Katelyn sighs and kisses Drew. His eyes instantly open in shock.
"AH ******** THAT HURTS!!!!" Drew yells out.
"Afraid of a kiss?" Amy asks.
"At least his vocabulary is back to normal." Jessie cheacks on some of her computers.
"Shut the ******** up Jessie." Drew snaps at her.
"See what I me....." Jessie stops what she's doing and goes over to Drew. "What'd you call me?"
"Jessie, you b***h lesbian." Jessie smacks him accross the face.
"Put some clothes on." Jessie walks away. "I don't understand."
Drew looks at his body.
"WHAT THE ******** IS GOING ON!!!!??? AND WHY AM I NAKED!! DAMN, I HURT!!!" Drewtries to cover himself up and then Micheal hands him some shorts. "Thanks ******** face who forgot to wake me up!!"
"What are you talking about?" Micheal takes a step back. Drew puts on the shorts.
"I was thinking. You were supposed to wake me up that morning." Drew looks around and sees Katelyn. "Oh my God!!" He goes over to her, and drops to his knees in front of her. "Will you marry me?"


Chapter 17

"Why are you doing this?" Charlie asks as Drew and him walk outside.
"I have two reasons behind this." Drew sighs and looks down at the ground.
"What are the reasons?"
"The first is hard to explain. It's like....well....it's likeI have this feeling inside that's telling me that I'm the father. Wait a second, what month is it?" Drew looks up at Charlie.
"It's January." Charlie looks around at all the trees.
"That means....eight months."
"Yeah. There's something you should know. For the past seven months, Micheal and Katelyn have gotten extremely close. I doubt Katelyn will say yes. To be honest, they're going to get married in March. What's your other reason for marrying Katelyn?"
"To get away from Julia." Drew chuckles a little and looks at Charlie seeing that he's not amused.
"There's another thing you should know. Julia's your sister. We all found after you died. Then me and her got married."
"I noticed she was gaining a little..."
"She's pregnant." Charlie walks on as Drew stops.
"You're kidding." Charlie stops and turns around.
"Would I kid about getting your sister pregnant? You have a feeling it's you kid inside my sister, and my kid is in your sister." Charlie turns to the house and walks off. When he enters the house, Jessie walks over to him.
"You tell him everything?"
"Not everything. Just about the babies and his relationship with Julia." Charlie goes to Julia who is sitting on the couch.
"I'll tell him the rest." Jessie opens the front door and then stops. "Oh yeah, Katelyn's taking this pretty hard. She's in the conference room with Kaji and Amy."
"Thanks Jes."
Jessie goes outside and sees Drew leaning against his car. His jacket brushes off some of the snow. He looks up and sees her. He gives her a slight smile as she approaches.
"Hey Jes."
"Hi. I kept your car the way it was for you." Jessie smiles and leans against the car beside him. "I guess all of this is hitting you pretty hard."
"You bet it is. I just found out that the girl that loved frenching me is pregnant with my best friend's baby. Plus she's my sister."
"That's not all that's changed either."
"Oh great. There's more." Drew adds sarcasticly.
"Nothing involving you. I'm not a lesbian anymore, and Amy and Kaji have been "together" a lot lately. When you left, a lot of things changed. You made a big impact on us all." Jessie looks at the trees around the house.
"You mean you would kiss me?"
"If you didn't propose, yeah." Jessie laughs a little bit. "Surprising, isn't it?"
"Yeah, it is."
"Why don't you go talk to Julia. She's taken it harder than anyone. You have to think, she found out you were her brother after you died."
"Yeah. I can imagine. Thanks for everything Jes." Drew leans toward her and they hug. "But remember this. I'm mad at you."
"What? Why?"
"I wanted to die." They laugh a little and then Drew goes inside. When he steps through the door, past memories flash into his mind. Julia snaps him out of his trance.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine." Drew walks over to the couch and sits beside her. "Where's Charlie?"
"He's in the conference room talking to Katelyn."
"Can I talk to you in my room?"
"Sure." They get up and go to Drew's room.
When they enter his bedroom, Drew smiles.
"We kept it the same cause we knew you were coming back." Julia goes to the bed and sits down. Drew walks around the room looking at all his stuff. "After you died, I fell in depression. Charlie was extremely worried. He tried to comfort me. After a month, he finally got me out of it. I "thanked him" very generously. And now he's going to be a father."
"Do you know what my last thought was before I died?" Drew stops at his dresser and looks at pictures of everyone.
"What was it?"
"Everyone's going to be happier now that I'm dead. Now, hearing you say that, I realized that I died for the wrong reason. I died because I'm not the father. Funny, ain't it?" Drew looks at her and smiles.
"We were able to run some test a few months ago. You ARE the father. Biologicly, at least."
