Forever
She sits in her bed,
And listens.
Listens to the screaming,
And yelling,
Sitting there,
And wishing it would all just end,
She wants to leave,
And to get away from it all,
But this is her life,
Day in and day out,
It’s all the same,
Listening,
Waiting,
Watching,
For it all to end,
To just disappear,
And never come back again,
But it’s not going to disappear,
It’s going to haunt her,
For the rest of her life,
She will always remember,
What it was like,
No matter how hard she tries to forget,
It’s going to be there forever.
