Velindin is claimed to be "insane" but she usually is calm, afraid, and nothing but a child. She has a metal brace on her left misshapen leg and has scars all over her face and body usually covered by her matted hair. She is really frail and tiny from the lack of food that they all had to share so therefore she's starved and however still very passive but it's hard to see unless her jacket comes off.
a chant she usually says:
kagome Kagome crouch little bird inside your cage ,
when oh when will he get out ,
Up before the light of dawn ,
Crane and turtle slipped and fell ,
