Stretching Out Within Eternity
On the darken mighty wings
Wishing for things I can never have
As the hidden ones begin to sing
I have been here so long
Within the mortal husk
Wishing for the freedom I know exist
As I leave my body at time of dusk
Searing for the things I cannot see
Reaching for what I cannot hold
Watching as time flys by on clocks
Watching as the earth grows old
Stretching Out within Eternity
Seeking that which I cannot know
As the night holds back the light
And there is the first flake of winter's snow
Watching as the humans pass
Never do they see me standing there
I have become a piece of the landscape
Watching with unknown care
To protect to heal, my job defines
Though no one knows the real me
I will help those that will allow
But they will never see
The child stretching out within eternity
On his darken might wings
Wishing for things I can never have
As the elements begin to sing
I hide within the darkness
So no one can see my form
Hiding from my reflection
Within the darkness storm
Abiding by the laws of man
Though man I never will be
Swallowed whole within the world
The world that will never find me
