and again i let him break my heart
i should have known better
"this isn't what you want,"
he told me "its all wrong."
his blue eyes that once looked at me with friendship
stare cold and hard at my features
i shake,
knowing that this shock will turn to tears
if left to their own devices
i won't cry in front of him
i refuse to cry about him any more
he walks away
with out a backwards glance
not leaving me any time to say anything
that may change your mind
or make me realize that you were wrong
again
