Apparently, Ashley Kay is having an oral surgery on Monday and is just now mentioning this to us. I'm all, okay, haha, good luck with that, sorry you'll suffer through Thanksgiving when I'll be stuffing my face full of Dad's turkey. Brina and Melissa, are as always, being overly sympathetic, and if they're not careful, Ashley Kay is going to scream murderously at them for it in the very near furture. If there's one thing she can't stand, it's sympathy and being mothered, which is in my sister's and cousin's automatic nature to be both excessively. Dad's a little anxious about Ashley's blood disorder but is simply poking fun at her about the delicious meal we will be sitting down for Thursday that she'll be missing out on. Denver, on the other hand is freaking out. He's a 110% hemophobic, whic means he's abnormally frightened at the sight of blood, especially AK's. If she gets a papercut he's already got the band-aid, ointment, and unnecessary, hundreds of dollars worth, medication we store in the fridge in case of real emergency in his very shaky hands. So he hears the words surgery and Ashley and flips out to the extreme, ranting about how her completely incompetent a*****e father could possibly send his blood-vulnerable baby girl into surgery.
So yeah, smart move Ashley Kay. You probably should have considered your idiot best friend's reaction before blurting this out a few days prior. In fact, you probably should have told us sooner, and just waited until you were in the hospital to tell Denver. Really, your supposed to be his best friend, and Lord knows you feel the need to bash him upside the head in his panicked overprotective state. Now, you're clear over there, and I'm stuck with his incessant brooding...again. You're doing this on purpose, aren't you, just to get under my skin? Typical.
In other news, we're seeing the forth Harry Potter movie today, we think. They hope. I'm just coming to come. I can seriously wait for the craze to die down, but Brina Kay, Charlie, and Denver can't. And Denver does need to keep his mind busy thanks to a certain someone, and there's no better way than Harry Potter. Between anxiousness and excitment, and his usual sugar intake, Denver is bouncing off the walls more than the usual scary amount. I'm slightly afraid to go out in public with him now, but I'm not going to let everyone spoil the whole movie should they go without me and rant on and on and on and on and on about it, as is expected. We're going to have to buy tickets an hour early than hang out the Lima Mall while Denver bursts with antcipation. Should be a fun day.
