My cousin is crazy...but that's just stating the obvious, now isn't it???
Anyway, my dad is having a ball. Christmas is...weird around here. It's a well-known fact. Dad's going overboard. Duh. When doesn't he??? I have no idea, even with all the people coming, how we're supposed to eat all the food he bought. I mean, I like to cook, but going to the freezer I cringe at the idea of the work I'm going to be put to. The Cunninghams won't be coming until later in the day, but they're still coming, and Dad's still going to put him and Brina in the kitchen...with supervision this time. They'll be coming over Christmas Eve too for that fact, but that's normal. If Ashley Kay was here, Denver would so totally find a way to convince his parents to spend the whole of Christmas here. Apparently Brina and I just aren't good enough for him. Nah. I'm actually relieved. I can only deal with the fire-hazard once a day. Joshua is really getting a kick out of everything. He especially likes it when I play Christmas carols on the organ and the tree. The kid can't stop staring at the damn tree. He can be cute when he wants to be. Of course, he's usually in the mood to be a little monster. Anyway, according to Mom, decorations and food and all is not the only thing Dad went overboard with. We're going to have some pretty good loot this year she says. Haha! Loot is good. So yeah, one more half day of finals and we'll be free from "the torture chamber of screaming death we all know and love as school." And Denver says I don't read Ashley's stuff. Apparently she and I had a joint epiphany today. She's still crazy. Just don't ask, you're better off not knowing. So yeah, I think that pretty much covers everything going on. Oh no. Brina is going to some party with Thomas on Friday and Dad wants me to go with them. When I said I'd rather not I heard once again how he always got stuck double dating with Aunt Becky and that I should want to look after my cousin and all that jazz. A bunch of blah, blah, blah, but I'm still being guited into it somehow. Neither Brina Kay or I are happy about it but whatever. I'll drag Charlie with me, maybe even Denver too. OOooh. He can set the house on fire and then the party will be over and tada! Yep, definatley dragging Denver along...
