She lies in her bed
Wrapped up so tight in her blankets
Not daring to let in any coldness
The passion pours from her eyes
Just to be alone would be paradise and a half
Tears run down her face
Leaving black fuzzy lines under her eyes
Everyone is curious as to what has put her in this state of sorrow
Secretly they all know
But not a soul in hell nor on earth would dare say a word
Emotions devour her as she breaks into a fiery frenzy
Her soul feels as cold as ice
She sees red and life is endless in her current stage of rage
She lashes out with violence
Everyone vanishes, nothing left but the air she breaths
She is left to tear herself to shreds as insanity overwhelms her
Now she lay cold and alone on her bedroom floor
Staring at where he used to lay
Swimming in thoughts that become dreams
She thinks of the times they had together
How happy they were
Smiling at each other like nothing else existed
Sweet melodies come from the guitar as he plays
Her voice is pure and soft, singing the song he made for her
He mouths “I love you” and kisses her check
As he slowly fades away
Darkness starts to overcome her
Waking up in a jolt
As her breath is short and fast now
There’s tension and anger in the air
Lead by the shouts of a lonely and confused girl
Swearing at the heavens above
Wondering why he just left her there
Knowing it would make her this way
Wishing for one last kiss
To be held in those soft gentle arms
That treated her oh so delicately
Even if it meant leaving this world like he did
