History:

Personality: Desmond is ruled by his emotions and reflexes. With him, it's shoot first, ask questions later. At times, his hands and guns work faster than his mind. Though much of the time he is silent and brooding, Desmond is quick to anger. He has loved once, but only once, and never again. He still harbors a small sliver of compassion and mercy, the latter usually in the form of instantaneous kills rather than torture. He is not a cruel man, at least, not until you take something that he cared for.

His training made him strong, fearless, relentless and bold.

Desmond is an extremely focused individual rarely straying from tasks set before him. He is constantly hounded by ghosts of his past that remind him of his father's evils and the shame, guilt, and dishonour Jeremiah Rosenthal brought upon the Rosenthal family name.

Equipment: Desmond possesses The Sins of The Father, the twin revolvers passed down from generation to generation through the family of Rosenthal.

-Beware. The Gunslinger bears the Sins of his Father. The Son of the Six Guns comes for vengeance and seeks the face of his father, which he shall not forget for as long as breath still lingers within him.

Special Skills: Desmond has received training in the Artes of the Gunslinger and is an excellent shot with his twin revolvers as well as most other firearms.

As well as being trained in handling firearms, Desmond is a skilled swordsman, being most comfortable with a rapier and hand and a half sword, but not against wielding such weapons as the longsword and b*****d sword.

His gunslinger training has kept Desmond at the peak of his strength and physical abilities.

Not so much a skill as a trait, Desmond has gazed upon the Outer Gods, wandered the Wastes for years, insane, and returned to sanity (though some may debate this) while retaining the mind-rejecting images of the Great Old Ones. As such, his mind is guarded by such powerful psychic turmoil that he is extremely well-protected against psychic assaults.
