xxxx The Witch of Sin. Satou is a 16 year old girl with a forced purpose and bucket of troubles. Since she's so reluctant to share the burden with anyone the mountain of problems just grows. Her type of witch is human-based, and her body has very few differences from a regular human. Among the small differences are that she heals twice as fast and is 'gifted' with mild empathy. Satou in particular is consider particularly gifted with empathy and can easily pick up on most emotions, though she is also a "emotional sponge" and is often influenced by the stronger emotions she senses.
Her forced purpose is as an assassin who is intended to kill the witch Godono Vinita. She has the power to "collect sin", aka gather power from negative feelings, and then inflect suffering and bad luck on the people around her. Coming in contact with Satou would put Vinita at risk for being 'cursed', so she has others attack her instead. Vinita also erases the memories of everyone close to Satou under the guise that the price for magic is her existence. People who did not simply forget are murdered instead. Satou is a dark mage who is best at offensive magic.

xxxxxxxx At first, Satou really disliked Chris. She thought he was a spineless loser and had absolutely no respect for him. However, by AW2, Satou had grown to think of Chris as one of her closer friends. The confusion regarding his clone, Kuriisu, made her a bit cold towards him, but she still cares about Chris a lot. Satou sometimes acts like he's her big brother.

xxxxxxxx Like Chris, Satou's respect for Ed took a while. She's long since forgotten the days of thinking he was a ***** who might go after Masume, though, and since then he's become her very best friend. Satou had told Ed not only about the death of Shugo, but about her 'curse', and he's the first and only person she's trusted this information to. It's only in Ed's presence that Ed is happiest and he's filled up the gaps in her heart for both Masume and Shugo, which makes him the most important person in the world to her. Her feelings are a bit double-edged, making her also very dangerous and protective when his safety is concerned. Satou would do anything for the sake of Ed, even committing murder.

xxxxxxxx They first became close near the end of AW2, and since then they've only become closer. Satou thinks of Jr as a big brother, a correction to previously seeing him as a younger brother. She knows about most of his past which makes her very sensitive to his sadness, and has turned keeping Jr happy into one of her top concerns. When Satou has a problem she is most likely to go to Jr.
