At home once again, the day was long but easy. Deborah and I returned home originally for a meeting that was scheduled rather abruptly at work for me. It was last minute details about changes in issues for the new year, things we needed to know before January 1st rolled around. And I realized a little late I could have done a video conference or phone one because three others had done it that way. Oh well, I think actually being in the board room scored some bonus points.

There was an incident last night I don't feel like going into much detail over but Seraph's doing better, Eloryn's showing regret and Anicetus is slowly starting to realize it's not his fault. You know, when they were kids their little fights were easier to handle. Deborah and I could just take away the toy or whatever it was they were having a fit over. Now that they're adults there's not much we can do. They live in their own homes so our house rules mean nothing unless they're currently in our home. The most we can do now is offer words of advice and hope they take it. I honestly miss seeing them as children, everything seemed easier back then. Ah well, no use in getting nostalgic over it. There's always grandchildren. But honestly, I don't know which child to hope for them from first. Time will tell, it always does.
