Heroes
There are no heroes here
To hold my head up high
No saviors there at all
To keep me warm and dry
I have no path before me
No trail for me to trace
One foot before the other
The only way I get by.
I'm hollow, naked, shivering
How could I possibly surive,
Thirsty, hungry, and weary,
Is this really where I die?
I can not fall no not yet,
I have to move to save us all,
I will be your hero, or atleast I'll try,
Believe in me, hold me close, and I can never fall.
Chance
Roll the dice,
Place your bets,
Hold your breath,
And no regrets.
Living high,
Always going,
One more shot,
One more token.
Gamble on,
Continue racing,
Close your eyes,
Keep on pacing.
What will the next second bring?
