Prologue

Modern times, new ideas, old politics. Slowly, the times change, slowly the people et worse. Society dies; government takes the rights of the people; war and poverty reign over the world. Everyone complains, saying that someone should do something about anything, but no one bothers to try.

There are those that just point and laugh. They say, “I told you so” and walk away. They leave the world to its fate. People call them crazy; and maybe they are; but they knew what would happen. They warned people, no one listened.

Then there are those who take power. They feed off of the weak minds of the people and establish their empires.

But its not all as bad as it seems. Few people create small Guilds that govern themselves. They survive solely off of one another. the guilds struggle for survival, constantly combating for land with rival Guilds and fighting for their lives against their nations dictators.

To establish some sort of order among the Guilds, the Guild-Heads issued a “Code of Honor,” stating the few laws and codes that should be followed. The Code, or “Honors” as they later became known as, were seldom followed; even by the Guild-Heads. The Honors were used mainly as a punishment and argument-settlement system more than anything.
