This story has no happy ending, well maybe one or two people end up with happieness. But for the most part everyone has the worst ending they could deseave.
I can't shake this feeling... this feeling of sorrow... of pain. Yet, it was all my fault. For letting them take you instead of me.
"Lets make a promise...you and me, lets be honest." Nothing can stop us. Even the light... that falls all around us. "Nothing can stop us, no, not now that I love you. Their not gonna get us."
What a foolish promise we had made... Yet I was the one to think it up. Now I regret it and am suffering the punishment as you are no longer here... It hurts when you smile... when you laugh, when you protect me. This kindness, this warmth, it brings such pain. As I do not desuvre it, I do not want it.
"The Soul Society is facing despret times... and in these despret times we have no other choice but to ask for help from people who could also destroy us. We must beg for the assistence of Kaoru Yoshida."
"You must be joking! Kaoru Yoshida, there are dark secrets around her..." Sajin Komamura fears was clear.
As was some others. Kaoru Yoshida was told to be the most dangers being who was also said to not be dead or alive. Legan told of him being a mix of human, soul reaper, and hollow. While living longer than any soul reaper, it is said that he is at least over 500,000, and if this is not enought to scare... Kaoru Yoshida has lost sence of emotion and caring for others. If he were told to kill without any reason there would be no hesitation. And because of this knowledge it made even the captains restless of the idea.
"Isn't this a bit of a drastice move Captain?" Jūshirō Ukitake asked for others to strong of pride.
"With the up coming battle we need all the help we can get. Aizen will evantully try to summon Kaoru if we do not. Its best if we do as soon as possible." Captain Shigekuni admited.
Now there was something they all knew couldn't happen. In evidence of this new imformation, no one objected. But while it was now decided it was also a dangers summoning. Only one with a trumendis amount of spirt energy could summon him.
"I will need two other Captains to completle the summoning, for not even I have enough spirt energy on my own to do the summoning." Captain Shigekuni continued. "Which it why I have chosen Captain Byakuya and Captain Jūshirō Ukitake. If their are no objections the rest of you are dismissed. We will start right away."
And since there were no objections everyone else was dismissed and the three Captains got to work. Doing this type of summoning took trumendis spirt energy because Kaoru Yoshida didn't not live in this world or the next. Said to have left the world because of inpurity, another reason said he was cursed...
"Do you think this decision is right?" Rangiku Matsumoto asked Captain Hitsugaya.
Captain Hitsugaya looked up at his lieutenant and sighed. "It is Captain Shigekuni decision. We must only follow." Although he also found himself quite excieded that Kaoru was being summoned. Yet he knew not why...
But just as Captain Shigekuni has said they had started right away any had already done the summoning. While huge spirtaul pressure had pushed even him himself a Captain to his knee as well as Matsumoto...
"When I had finally been summoned after 1,000 years it seemed Captain Shigekuni was still in charge. Yet the two Captains with him I did not recongize. As well as that I had only really been gone for about 110 years. What could these idiot Soul Reapers have done to need me? I guess I was to find out, well, after they recovered from lossing so much spirt energy." Kaoru thought out load softly to himself.
Captain Byakuya and Captain Jūshirō Ukitake looked like they might faint there on the ground while Captain Shigekuni gasped once or twice more before slowly lifting himself onto his feet. With one more gasp he cleared him throat to speak. "Kaoru, it has been a long time."
"It has hasn't old man..." he replied.
But even it Captain Shigekuni was talking to Kaoru his eyes had drifted to the small child clinging onto Kaoru's back. It was just odd to know Kaoru had a child in his care. But what was extremely difficult to understand it how this child was as white as paper from head to toe, yet his eyes... The usal white in the eyes was completel black while his pupil were bright orange. The child also had a demonic aura around himself as he looked plesently happy were he was.
In noticing Captain Shigekuni curousity Kaoru intredused the child. "This is Tsubasa, he is haft Soul Reaper, haft hollow. I have been chosen to continue razing him in his parents place."
"Hi, nice to meet you old- I mean Captain Shigekuni." Tsubasa said in reply.
Captain Shigekuni nodded even though he was obivouly suprised. Was it even possible for a soul reaper and hollow to have a child was probably his thought... Yet somehow I agree, because this child was gaven birth another way. Not through joining of two people but of two souls. And yet it held no memories of the past...
"I presume you know of the sigawation and why I am to beg for your assistance." The Captain continued.
I knew exactuly why he had summoned me, yet at the same time we both knew he still did not have full faith in me. My pride held me at an emotionless state while my seemingless friendship with this old man made it so I would not abandon this world completely. I sighed in defeat of my sorrows.
"You'll never understand old man... Kaoru isn't a m-"
"Tsubasa, thats enough." I inturupted.
Tsubasa was still a child, he always spoke truth and nothing else. But sometimes it was best if he didn't speak of such things... As most storys go, this one is no simple little troublesome triviay of which we can escape.
"Captain Byakuya!"
I looked to the right to see a handful of soul reapers. Most of them wore captain uniform. Hm, did I look like the bad guy? Probably, rumors always made me look like a killer. But still, Captain Byakuya lieutenant Renji Abarai ran to his side. Byakuya had to much pride as usal though...
"I am fine Renji." He objected as he stood.
Though Captain Jūshirō looked less than okay while coughing blood as he was helped up. He had an ilness called tuberculosis, and so I guess it makes him have a sickly appearance. If he fights for too long, or even becomes too agitated, the illness flares up. Standing for now.
"Captain Jūshirō need medical attention." someone said.
The problem none of them realized was... there was no time left. He would die if something wasn't done right this moment. Soul Reapers... such helpless creaters, just the same a the living.
