Pointless Adventure #73 The train pulls in the station, with a creak the doors open. Complete silence. Tori stepped out and felt a hand grab her shoulder roughly. She had no time to see who it was. “Zombie!” I screamed as I smacked the rotten creature with a book. Tori jumped away and Kira howled with laughter. I bent down and picked up an eye. “Rachel!” Tori gasped as I threw it at her. Shrugging I walked toward the stairs. “Hurry up! I wanna see more!” I said impatiently, Kira went and knelt before the zombie. “I’ll catch up with you later.” she said. I nodded and dragged Tori up the stairs. The walls were cold and we saw our breath as we ran up the steps, “Where are we going?” She asked trying to hide her excitement. “Up of course.” I said laughing as Tori gave me that “look”. “I don’t know.” Something green stood at the top of the stairs. It was small with sugar flakes all over the body. “Oh my God!” Tori squealed. The creature looked at her. “ It’s a sour patch kid! Run for your life!!!” I ran forward around the green piece of candy. Moving toward the next door I glanced back to see the candy, it bowed its head sadly. Tori ran in and stopped. I took my place beside her and there in front of us was Kira all covered in blood. “It’s a ghost!” I gasped. Kira smiled. “ Guys I’m not a ghost.” she said. Tori hid behind me. “I think it’s speaking some kind of ghost language.” I whispered to Tori. “Like French?” She asked. The ghost Kira got annoyed. “No! I’m not a ghost and these are English words coming out of my mouth!” She snapped. Tori tugged on my arm nervously. “Rachel look what you’ve done! You’ve upset the ghost!” she said. “No… no I think I made ‘em happy.” I said. The room got tense with Kira’s anger. I walked up and whacked her in the side of the head with a book, knocking her to the ground. Tori started running up the stairs. I looked down on Kira. “Well what do ya know? It really wasn’t a ghost.” I followed Tori up the stairs and through the next door. In this room it was dark and I could hear whispering. “Where’s the exit?” they whispered. “Are we going to be stuck here forever?” Suddenly a bright blue light shone in a small speck. I grabbed Tori’s arm and followed the glowing bead. “What are we doing?” She asked. “What do you think?” I countered. The room was big but I made it to the exit with Tori at my side. There stood a girl with long white hair and golden eyes. The beads returned to the charm necklace around the girls neck. The girls black cloak hid a small bag that held leaves. “Long live Kyzii!!” I shouted excitedly. Tori looked at me, realizing just who the being was. Kyzii took a bow and smiled. “Couldn’t let the creator get lost now could I? that would have been no fun.” She said as she pushed us through the next door. We were ambushed by ninja stick figures! One of the ninjas was named Kyzii Ninja Warrior, the other has not yet been named… but my characters are still a work in progress, why they ended up here? I have no clue. Suddenly, out of nowhere the song “The Hall of the Mountain King” played out. I fought against Kyzii Ninja Warrior as Tori fought against her own character. I dodged every punch that was thrown at me, the kicks? I wasn’t as lucky. I pulled out a red and white ball from my bag and threw it. “Pikachu! Go!” I called out. The stick figure was distracted so I took that moment and hit her in the back of the head with my book. At once both stick figures burst into flames. I called Pikachu back and ran toward the next door. The music stopped as we entered a quiet and bright room with shelves filled with books. Tori looked at me bewildered. “What the heck’s going on here?!” “SSSHHHH!!!” Came the reply from all the people. Calmly I walked up to the front desk where a stern looking lady was perched. I handed her the blood stained and torn up book and smiled as she scanned it in. The lady pointed to the elevator and I pushed my friend toward it. We waited to reach the bottom floor. “We went through hell to turn in a lousy book!?” She snapped. “Yup. That’s okay, next time you don’t have to come.” I said feeling a bit hurt. Tori shrugged. “Nah it was fun.” We arrived at the bottom floor and walked toward the parking lot. I stopped suddenly and looked through my bag. “What’s wrong?” Tori asked. “I left my car in the library!!!” “What!?” Tori said face palming herself. I ran back. biggrin “C’mon!
