Well I meet her on gaia, which is a little odd for me. I have very little hope for online relationships working, but my friend changed that. He has been talking to this girl for 3 years and now he is going to fly to ******** Scotland to see her.

Personally my take on visiting a person is different. Due to my need to touch someone, I would like to go early (not like a perv btw).

Example: We have been talking for 4 weeks now; mainly over phone, and I would like to visit after the semester of college.

She asked me not to rush it, but I argued further "I think two people who live a distance away have more reason to see each other sooner then later."

Reason being is that you can only get so much out of typing, texting, and talking on the phone. An encounter face to face is the REAL test. More of a test to her then me. I imagine that because me visiting her will mean I will meet her family and more importantly she will see my scars and equip. She has seen pics of me, but an in person encounter can change everything.

Therefor, visit earlier so that decisions can be made whether or not we are compatible. If I want to be with her I want to be there in person so I can be close to her. If that closeness is a problem then I can foresee failure, but I doubt that will be a problem.

I see myself as a strong individual that nothing can truly phase; which is true, but I am human so I have doubt. I don't doubt her I doubt myself. I have doubt of not being "good enough". Little emotional scars from the past that are hard to forget v.v

My game plan about the situation is also tactical. I can't help playing my life like a game. What can I do to assure victory? Well In any relationship there are the parents and/or siblings. So not only is the trip to see her, but to prove myself to them. If I impress her family my stay will be welcomed and future encounters are available. Maybe just maybe if I do in fact visit then after that I can work out a plan for her to visit me. =^.^=
