if there's one thing I've learned about good RPing in my year or so of doing it, it's that foreshadowing should become one of your closest friends. Anyone can tell a story, but only someone who has a firm grasp of where they're going can drop the suttle hints and clues associated with foreshadowing. One might keep that in mind as things move along with Cyrx.
The major flaw with Cyrx as a person is the lunar virus. Yes, it grants the one infected the ability to transform into different forms suited for different purposes, all useful in their own right, but one must remember that it is still a virus; it's a disease with no cure. The first side-effect of the lunar virus is a complete lockout of any other outside influences within the body. This keeps lunars from becoming sick, but it also prevents things such as pain killers from working should a lunar become severely injured, or healing magicks that may help a lunar get back to his life sooner.
Aside from the zero tolerance for outside influences, which is also reflected in the general persona of the lunars themselves, no much else is known about the lunar virus, as few have gotten the chance to really document its effects. Being that the lunar virus effects the DNA structure of the one infected directly, certain other things become affected, such as behavior and aging. The majority of lunars age slower than a normal human would, with a few exceptions as the virus has different effects on different people.
As I stated in an earlier entry, Cyrx is what is referred to as a "misbreed"; a botched infection that fails to completely infect the DNA sequence entirely. A misbreed may have slight problems with transformations, mood swings due to competing personas, memory loss while in a certain form (beast form for Cyrx is an example of this), all the way through hideous mutations or a blank being: someone who is alive, but doesn't feel the world around them, as their emotions and personalities are destroyed. Of course, death is also sometimes the end result of a misbreed.
Aside from these well known facts amongst other lunars, anything else that occurs due to the virus is relatively unknown, leaving room for all sorts of side effects that may either help or hurt the one infected.
