So Crispy and I got back together a couple months ago. We're doing well. He's found an awesome new job and so have I. I've lost weight and am feeling much healthier. I decided not to join the army, it was a good idea at the time, but things change. I love my son too much to leave him, and since I'm a single mom, they'd make me sign away custody for a year...I can't do that.

Anyway, Crispy asked me to marry him and I said "yes". I took it with a grain of salt, so to speak, until he started introducing me to people as his "fiancee". Scary. But I like. Never thought I'd get married. Never really wanted to...until now.

He wants to be dad to my son and possibly have more children and I kinda do too, but I want to plan any and all future munchkins. I want to have finances set aside and a job that comes with the benefits of health insurance and maternity care. ^_^



Just helped a friend move yesterday. Blazingly hot out, even hotter in the house where her and I were cleaning. No air, no cross breeze, all humid and just down right hot. Freakin' kitchen we were cleaning was a sweatbox. I dare say I lost weight just sweating. Love that girl and I'll be happy to help her move again, but next time, I will be bringing a fan...and a mop. Though, I dare say Crispy's more worn out than I am. He'd worked all day (6am-2:30pm), went home, took a shower, changed clothes, then came out and helped with the move. He'll be helping out again today after work too, but at least he has Tuesday off, so he can sleep. Or at least take it easy.
