I am a frequent sufferer of writers block, so I decided I'd post my tricks to help avoid it....not that a ton of people will see this but still. It's the thought that counts XD
1.) Take a break. Especially if you have a deadline, take a small break and do something you enjoy to get the creative stuff flowing to your brain.

2.) Write about something that you relate to, its easier to come up with new stuff for it.

3.) Wait a few days and reread what you've written and pick up on the theme you started with, that helps a lot XD

4.) Make a playlist on your Ipod and listen to it at night. I've found it makes you dream more vividly and dreams can give you a new idea for your storyline. That's where I got the plot for my very first book smile
