Nekal still didnt think he was going to lose, and had, in fact, been testing the man. Now that he had a broken wrist, the demon believed that the fight was a fair one. A handicap. The demon was grinning at the man and suddenly blurred from view, another speed blitz. His right clawed hand slashed the air, ready to take the mans head from his neck. The mans hand flashed near his wait and suddenly sparks flew as hardened, demonic claws were cut through by the dagger the man now held. Nekal did not scream, he simply took some steps back, surprised by the daggers appearance.
"Maerlon" The demon said simply, speaking the daggers true name, a name in High Demon meaning "Killer". Plain and simple. The jewels on the dagger which were usually grey were now a blood red, they hungered for Nekals flesh, blood, his bone, all of it. They wanted to taste it. It was ready. Nekal would die this day! it swore.
Nekals eyes became slits as he viewed the man, suddenly very wary, and even more impressed than before. With a growl he began to circle the man, who had played the defensive but was still in the lead. Nekal suddenly grew furious, no mortal man should be capable of this!
So the demon again speed blitzed him, its right hand suddenly filled with electricity as it ran. The man seemed no way wary of this attack, and as Nekal was about to deliver a sudden, quick, attack, the man simply stepped back two steps, a mocking smile on his face as tghe demon was unbalance. The man suddenly shot the hand holding the dagger at the demons exposed threat and wasn't surprised that he had missed.
Nekals thought was simply: "Is this guy that good or do I just suck this much!??"
in which I replied "Being Humiliated much?"
