So, I read this webcomic called Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire. I'm also a member of the forum. Recently, the author of the comic decided to try and quit his dayjob, relying for the time being on reader donations with the aim of raising 12,000 dollars by the end of October.
Apparently, somebody on the forum takes issue with this. Her feelings are that because she and her friends are having financial trouble and prominent comics like Clan of the Cats are starting to go under for the same reasons, she has some kind of right to be offended by the decision of the author to quit his job.
Well, in typical Vryko fashion I gave her a big ol' piece o' me mind, expressing in no uncertain terms exactly how childish and immature that attitude is. We'll see how this turns out.

Why don't they [the poster, and various other comics with money trouble] not try what Fred Gallagher of MegaTokyo fame's approach if they're in need of money? Try and publish the webcomic. He has three books out, all of which did well in reviews and takings, and mostly, all it needs is a front cover, and a little introduction or two. He's even working on a line in merchandise.
